The Silver Reference Project
As a true speaker manufacturer, accurate sound reproduction has been the driving force for Phil Jones and the engineering team at AAD since the beginning. The ability to bring forth an audio experience which is as emotional to the senses as it is true to the event at hand is why so many homes and and recording studios worldwide have come to trust the AAD sonic experience. Our much loved S range of loudspeakers has been giving listeners a window into this experience for many years with it's combination of true high performance sound and beautiful aesthetics. It is from this passion the new Silver Reference series was born.
After years of R&D, utilizing the finest materials and extensive driver design innovation, the Silver Reference by AAD is much more than just a highly polished version of our highly praised S series, it represents an entirely new range of loudspeakers from AAD, delivering an unparalleled combination of sonic accuracy, ergonomics and build quality. Just as a concert quality violin or grand piano is comprised of more than just its outer skin, the Silver Reference bids farewell to its S siblings once you remove the grill and go beyond its beautiful high gloss outer surface. From the meticulously finished cabinet to its state of the art driver technology and unequalled sonic performance, the Silver Reference represents a quantum leap forward, not only for AAD, but for speakers in this range as a whole.
